The background on this card is created from the waste ink left on the stencil when I created the card in this post.

Swirly Delight WV Inks NegativeSo, just to recap, there was some Red Geranium and Orange Blossom Wendy Vecchi Make Art Ink left on Phill Martin’s Swirly Delight Stencil. I misted the ink with water and popped a piece of Coconut White Card, that was leftover from a frame (cut using the Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B), on top and ran a Brayer over the back of the card to help transfer the ink. I love the unpredictability of this technique.

Swirly Delight Wendy Vecchi Make ArtI matted onto Black Card and Coconut White Card.

I cut a Stitched Flag out of Coconut White Card. I cut the inner dies from the For You Mini Shadowed Sentiment Die Set out of Coconut White Card and coloured them with Red Geranium Ink using a Smoothie.

I cut some flowers out of Coconut White Card using the Delicate Daisies Complete Petals Die Set. I coloured them with the same Wendy Vecchi Inks. I shaped them using an Embossing Tool and a Moulding Mat. I added an 8mm Black Pearl to the centre.

I cut some leaves out of Coconut White Card using the Sycamore Branch Die Set.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a sneak peek from the Spellbinders One Day Special that I’m launching on Hochanda on Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by.
