I have shows on Hochanda today at 8am, 12noon and 4pm with the latest collection of Sue Wilson’s Flower Square Dies and the Gardening Frame Die Set. Lots more goodies on the shows as usual.
I have 3 cards for you today using the same technique with different products –
Starting with the card in the middle –
I started by popping a piece of Black Card on top of a piece of Coconut White Card. I added both dies in the Tulip Flower Square Die Set on top of the Black Card and ran through my machine. The dies cut through the Black Card and scored the White Card. I removed the Black die cut.
So, with the white piece, you can see all the outline for the design. You can then colour the design with whatever you want. I coloured in using Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxides. You need to colour in just over the lines.
I glued the Black Die Cut over the top.
I matted onto a piece of Coconut White Card cut using a Double Stitched Square Die.
For my background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Sublime Swirls 3D Embossing Folder. I added Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide direct from the pad to the peaks. I misted with a little water and the ink feathered a little – you can take a print from it at this stage.
Once dry, I inked around the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and matted onto Black Card and another piece of Coconut White.
This one is with the Pansy Flower Square –
The sentiment is the Happy Birthday Mini Shadowed Sentiment.
This one is with the Petunia Flower Square –
