I thought we’d have a Christmas Card today with my favourite Snowman Edger

Paper Cuts Snowman Edger 6

I started by scoring a piece of Coconut White Card in half. I trimmed it to approx 6 1/2″ long.  I opened my card out and popped the Snowman Edger on the right-hand side and cut.

For my background, I used a piece of White Gloss Card. I arranged some of the stamps from the Snowflake Companions Stamp Set onto an Acrylic Block. I stamped onto the White Gloss Card using Bluebird Wendy Vecchi Make Art Ink. I dried the ink and then sanded it using a coarse sanding block – by sanding up and down and then across-ways, in a cross-hatch way. I added Potting Soil Wendy Vecchi Make Art Ink using a Smoothie. I then sanded back again, in the same cross-hatch. I added more ink and then sanded again.

I glued my snowman to my background. I added a couple of the fall away snowballs to the centre of a couple of the snowflakes in my background.

I cut the Snowman Edger our of Midnight Blue Card (I used the die cut on another card). I paper pieced some of the pieces into my snowman.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Companions Stamp Set using Twilight Versafine Clair and cut it out using a Double Stitched Square Die. I edged the die cut with a little Bluebird Ink.
