Little Pieces of Art

I have a little collection of ATCs for you today –

As I’ve said before, ATCs are great for trying out lots of different products. They’re small so not at all scary. The MDF ones from Creative Expressions are all 2mm so not thick and really light so can easily be used on cards too. They’re also inexpensive with a pack of 10 coins or squares just £1.99!

This ATC Coin has been painted with Shy Violet Chalk Paint. The background is the waste from another project – Stellar Ice Luna Paste with Purple Violet and Silver Dream Pixie Powder mixed in through a design in the Butterfly Net Artist Trading Elements Stencil.

Once dry, I cut it out using a Double Stitched Circle and inked around the edges with Milled Lavender Distress Oxide. The sentiment is snipped from one of the designs in the Text Tiles Stamp Set, stamped using Nocturne Versafine Clair.

I painted an Art-Effex Button with Shy Violet Chalk Paint and threaded some Baker’s Twine through it.

I’ve used one of the stamps in the Sign It Stamp Set on the back.

For this one, an ATC Square has been painted with Gold Lime Shimmer Paint. I added some Emboss-It Dabber to 2 corners of the square, added CS Dark Age Mixed Media Embossing Powder and heat set using the the low setting on the Woodware Heat Tool.

I sprinkled a little Bronze Blush Pixie Powder in the centre and misted with water and set aside to dry. I painted an Art-Effex Button with Harvest Gold Shimmer Paint. Once dry, I threaded some twine through it.

Once my Pixie Powder was dry, I spread some Stellar Champagne Luna Paste through one of the designs in the Crazy Paving Artist Trading Elements Stencil.

My sentiment is from the Modern Classic Sentiments Stamp Set.

I’ve used one of the stamp designs in the Text Tiles Stamp Set on the back.

For this one, I painted an ATC Square with Saffron Chalk Paint. I dusted with an Anti-Static Pad. I stamped one of the images in the Art Tiles Stamp Set using Nocturne Versafine Clair and embossed with CS Clear Detail Embossing Powder.

I’ve coloured the image using the Carnival Brights Watercolour Palette.

This ATC Coin has been painted with Azure Mist Chalk Paint. I popped some Stellar Ice Luna Paste onto my Craft Sheet. I added a little Violet Shimmer Paint and mixed well. I spread this mixture through one of the designs on the Butterfly Net Artist Trading Elements Stencil.

The sentiment is snipped from one of the images in the Text Tiles Stamp Set.

For this one, I covered an ATC Square with Azure Mist Chalk Paint. I popped one of the designs from the Scrolls & Tyre Tread Artist Trading Elements Stencil on top and sprinkled Purple Violet Pixie Powder over. Leaving the stencil in place, I misted with water. I removed the stencil and set aside to dry.

Once dry, I popped another design from the same stencil on top and added Stellar Ice Luna Paste through a section of it and set aside to dry.

Once dry, I applied Emboss-It Dabber to 2 corners, added Ice Age Mixed Media Embossing Powder and heat set using the the low setting on the Woodware Heat Tool.
